Arst Avocats is pleased to announce the arrival of Romain Picard as a partner in its Paris office. He will be in charge of the Corporate – M&A department.
Before joining Arst Avocats, Romain Picard began his career in major French and international business law firms (Clyde & Co, Franklin, Dentons).
Today, he assists industrial groups and entrepreneurs in high-stakes sectors (pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, aerospace/defense, food & beverage, media and new technologies) in both their strategic external growth operations and their internal restructurings.
Throughout his career, Romain Picard has specialized in monitoring foreign investments in France and regularly advises foreign investors on their strategic investments in sensitive sectors in France. Romain also assists his clients with the day-to-day management of their businesses and the negotiation of their commercial contracts.
Romain Picard thus strengthens Arst Avocats' full-service expertise in business law with Morgan Jamet (founding partner – insolvency proceedings, commercial law – franchising), Jefferson Larue (partner – business litigation, renewable energies, insurance), Fanny Hurreau (partner – business litigation, commercial leases), Chaouki Gaddada (partner – employment law), Dirk Andreae-Nehlsen (partner – tax law) and Linda Azizi (partner – business litigation, construction law).
“I am delighted to welcome Romain Picard as partner in charge of the corporate – M&A practice. Following the opening of our Aix-en-Provence office, this addition demonstrates the dynamism and continued growth of Arst Avocats. We are thus complementing our full-service offering with essential expertise for the benefit of our clients,” said Morgan Jamet, founding partner.
Romain, a member of the Paris Bar, is also admitted to practice in the State of New York (United States).
Romain Picard is a lecturer in M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) at Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne and at Cy Cergy Paris University.
