Implementation of the “France Recovery” plan
Finance your ecological transition projects with financial aid from the “Springboard for the ecological transition of SMEs” window
Preliminary eligibility conditions for beneficiaries of "Springboard" aid
The investment project must correspond to one of the actions appearing in the predetermined list, for which an amount of aid, also predefined, is allocated.
Several prerequisites are required in order to be able to submit your application file to ADEME:
- The beneficiary must be a VSE or an SME within the meaning of European regulations , established in France, with a SIRET number, excluding autoentrepreneurs; the legal form does not matter, however, they are all eligible, including SCIs.
- The total cost of the operation, made up of several investments or studies, must be greater than the total amount of aid proposed by ADEME.
- Operational projects for which the amount of aid estimated on the ADEME website is less than €5,000 or greater than €200,000 will not be eligible.
- The investment project must be carried out over a maximum period of 18 months.
- The investment or study project must be part of eligible actions with an ecological objective (fight against global warming, global renovation of buildings and air quality, actions related to lighting, etc. the list of actions eligible is visible here with an indication of the aid amounts).
A list of actions is also predetermined on the basis of the Excel spreadsheet "ADEME_Tremplin ecological transition" to be completed at the time of the request.
- At the time of the request for aid, the investments/or study must not have already started or have been ordered when the project leader has recourse to an external service provider.
- Several quotes must have been made relating to the planned investments/studies. This can relate to external costs but also internal costs.
- You must not have requested or benefited from public aid in the form of subsidies for the same expenses. You will have to be attentive to the aid you may have already benefited from.
Help Details
The aid will be awarded in the form of a flat-rate grant, paid in several stages, with an advance of 30% upon notification of the aid decision, then according to the terms indicated in the financing contract.
Important information:
- “Tremplin” aids can be combined with Energy Saving Certificates, as well as certain public aids such as ecological bonuses.
- However, they cannot be combined with certain public aids such as subsidies and the tertiary tax credit.
- The ceiling for state aid under the temporary Covid-19 business support scheme is 800,000 euros.
The practical procedures for making an estimate of the aid and submitting your file
The request is made in two steps:
1st step: the project leader must first fill in the Excel spreadsheet "ADEME Tremplin ecological transition" downloadable on the page of this page of the ADEME website .
The company will enter information on its activity and its geographical location. It will also be necessary to plan to enter the estimated cost of the operation, after deduction of VAT. A list of actions will then be proposed according to the information entered, which must be chosen. On this basis, a provisional amount of aid from ADEME will then be displayed. Depending on this aid, the company may or may not commit to carrying out the chosen actions. Once this step is complete, the candidate will be able to generate a new Excel file with the information entered, to be kept for the application submission.
2nd step: then submit your file online via this page
If the file is accepted, ADEME will send a financing contract specifying the maximum amount of aid, the terms and conditions of payment. ADEME may monitor compliance with contractual commitments and the implementation of the project, in particular by coming to the site.
