The law on the modernization of our health system was adopted in final reading by the National Assembly on December 17, 2015 and published in the official journal of January 27, 2016. This text provides in particular for the prohibition of the use of electronic cigarettes in certain public places such as closed and covered workplaces for collective use (Art. L.3511-7-1 of the Public Health Code (CSP)). Similarly, the law extends to the use of electronic cigarettes, the control related to offenses relating to tobacco, and gives municipal police officers the possibility of recording certain offenses against tobacco legislation (Art. L.3512-4 of the CSP).
